Teleportation for therapy?

There is a beautiful state park within close proximity to my college. I have been to this gem many times. Whenever I walk into this absolutely breath taking forest I always say to myself, “within such natural beauty problems do not exist.”

The reason many problems do not exist here, is because problems are often a manifestation of one’s immersion in society. But when you enter into the zone of nature, you are in a realm that is cut off from the breeding grounds of your problems. Your mind has left your problems and entered another world. Nature does not care about your problems; it is a world unto itself.

If I had access to any landscape in the world on any whim whatsoever, can you imagine how beautifully I could put myself into a setting that could aid in me having a proper perspective on life? Just imagine after a hard day of work, you casually decide to spend the rest of the afternoon deep in a Hawaiian Rain Forest. In such a mystical place the light calmly filters through the tree tops as you sit quietly on the bank of a pond that a large waterfall is dumping into.

Hey, you can go to that shrink if you wanna--but I much prefer sitting in the peaceful Hawaiian setting--working my problems out there!

The possibilities with such a device are literally endless. And yes, there would be the real potential for a dark-side. But this is true with any and all inventions. This is the great paradox of life.

Look at the Internet for example. It is used for truly inspiring and uplifting things (P.I. for example) but on the flip side it is also a haven for things not in this category. Nuclear power can be a real aid to mankind, but its technology can also be utilized for destruction etc. etc.

I’m unsure when this device will no longer be of science fiction--but the day it is as real as you and me--rest assured I’ll be the first one in line! ^__________^
